Kitchens in Epping
Kitchens designed around how you live — fitted in Epping by builders, not just joiners.
Call 07772017237 Get a free quoteThe kitchen is the heart of the home, and in Epping’s detached and period homes it deserves better than a like-for-like swap. We design and install kitchens properly — including the structural work, plumbing, electrics and plastering that most kitchen fitters can’t touch.
We’re based in Walthamstow and work across Epping (CM16) every week — design, structural work, plumbing, electrics, plastering and finishing, all managed in-house under one fixed price agreed up front.

Kitchen projects for Essex homes
The district’s housing supports big, high-spec kitchens — and that’s what we build:
- Luxury kitchen-diners in detached homes — the local benchmark: large islands, quartz or granite worktops, roof lanterns, bi-fold doors to the garden, integrated appliances, walk-in pantries and separate utility rooms.
- Period-sensitive renovations — shaker-style kitchens sympathetic to Victorian and Edwardian character in Epping’s villas and Loughton’s period streets.
- Kitchen-diners via extensions — rear or side-return extensions creating the open-plan space (see our extensions work), then the kitchen fitted into it.
- All the brands — we supply and install Howdens, Wren, DIY Kitchens, Wickes, Magnet and Benchmarx. See our kitchens page for the full brand line-up.

We know Epping, not just the route to it
Epping is a historic market town — its Monday market was chartered by Henry III in 1253 and still runs every week on the High Street, 770 years on. The Gothic Revival water tower anchors the southern end of town, Copped Hall sits just outside it, and 6,000 acres of Epping Forest begin at the town’s edge.
We’re based in Walthamstow, an easy run up to Epping — and we know the area’s planning quirks well, from Green Belt rules to the town’s conservation areas.
We cover the whole CM16 postcode: the town centre, Bell Common, Coopersale, Epping Green, Thornwood, Ivy Chimneys and Epping Upland.
Do I need permission for a new kitchen?
Internal kitchen refits never need planning permission. Knock-throughs involving load-bearing walls need Building Control approval (and usually a steel) — a building-regulations matter, not a planning one — and we handle the structural calculations and sign-off. Listed buildings need listed-building consent for significant internal alterations. If you’re unsure what’s load-bearing, that’s exactly what the free site visit is for.

Kitchen Brands We Supply & Install
We’re not tied to one supplier, so you get honest advice on the best kitchen for your budget — then a proper, snag-free installation whatever you choose. Here are the brands we fit most often:
Howdens
Trade-only kitchens built to last. We’re a regular Howdens customer, so we know their ranges inside out and can get your kitchen ordered and delivered fast.
Wren Kitchens
High-street showroom kitchens with a huge choice of styles and finishes — we handle the full installation from rip-out to final fix.
DIY Kitchens
Great-value rigid-built units bought online. A smart way to save on the units themselves while we deliver the professional fit.
Wickes
Accessible, keenly priced kitchens with quick availability — ideal when you want quality without the long lead time.
Magnet
One of the UK’s most established kitchen brands, with trade and retail ranges to suit most budgets.
Benchmarx
Part of the Travis Perkins Group — trade kitchens and joinery with showrooms nationwide, many inside Travis Perkins branches.
Already bought a kitchen, or considering another brand? No problem — if the units exist, we can fit them.
Kitchens in Epping — FAQs
Can you create an open-plan kitchen-diner?
Yes — whether by knocking through, extending, or both. We handle the steelwork, calculations and Building Control sign-off as one managed project.
Which kitchen brands do you install?
Howdens, Wren, DIY Kitchens, Wickes, Magnet and Benchmarx — or any kitchen you’ve already bought. If the units exist, we can fit them.
How much does a new kitchen cost?
It depends on the units, worktops, appliances and any structural work. Call 07772017237 for a fixed quote after a free site visit.
How long does a kitchen installation take?
A straightforward refit takes 2–3 weeks; knock-throughs and extensions add time. High-spec projects with stone worktops and bespoke elements run longer — we’ll programme it honestly.
